Black Gold Summer Baseball Clinic

Black Gold Baseball will be hosting its 4th annual summer baseball clinic for players ages 6 through 13 on August 6th and 7th. Sessions run from 8:30am to 12:30 pm. Cost is $125 per player.

Kern County FCA Sporting Clay Tournament

Join us Saturday, October 4th at Kern County Gun Club for a morning of shooting, fellowship, food, raffle and more. Cost is $175 per shooter or $700 per team of four. Click the link below for more information and to register.

Dave Washburn

Kern County Director

Dave Washburn is a 1989 graduate of Azusa Pacific University where he played football and threw hammer for the track team. He graduated with a BA in Psychology and in 2002 completed his master’s degree in education and School Counseling. He entered into full time ministry with FCA in 2007. Dave and his wife Suzanne live in Bakersfield where he oversees 18 FCA huddles, leads 2 coaches Bible studies, and works with athletes and coaches to share the gospel with the community.
